SSC MTS Exam 2016: Revised Exam Pattern

Dear Friends,

As you all know Staff Selection Commission has cancelled the MTS Exam scheduled to be held in the months of April, May and June 2017. Now the exam will be held from 16th September to 31st October 2017.

There has been some major changes in the exam pattern of MTS Exam. Lets have a look at the some major changes. 

1. Now the Exam will be conducted in Online mode (i.e. Computer based mode). 
2. Total number of questions has been reduced from 150 to 100.
3. There will be 25 questions in each sections namely General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General english and General awareness. 
4. Duration of exam has been reduced from 2 hours (120 minutes) to 1.5 hours (90 minutes). 
5. For every correct answer you will be awarded 1.5 marks and for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. 

Note:- There is no change with regard to the maximum marks and negative marking given in the original notice of examination for Paper-I.
