➡️Hearing started with SG Tushar Mehta’s argument. He said that 98,000 candidates are waiting for the result. Then Hon'ble Justice SA Bobde interrupted him and asked Prashant Bhushan Sir regarding the name of Expert Committee members.

➡️Prashant Bhushan Sir passed a Copy in which 3 names were mentioned apart from 2 names suggested by Hon'ble Judge. He started to explain about the members but SG intervened and said that he need some time to check details of the suggested members.

➡️Then Hon'ble Justice SA Bobde said that the first two names were suggested by him only. Then SG said that he didn't knew Vijay Bhatkar, on which Judge said he has developed first super Computer of India and said that both these IT Experts are as good as any other in their field. Then SG agreed upon the name of Vijay Bhatkar and Nandan Nilekani.

But SG raised objections on 3rd name which was suggested by Prashant Bhushan Sir and said that since this name came from Prashant Bhushan, so he need to cross check it. Then Prashant Bhushan Sir explained about the credibility of 3rd name.

➡️SG said that he wants former judge of Supreme court to be in the Expert Committee and suggested the name of Justice Dave and Justice Singhvi on which Judge had no objection.

But Justice SA Bobde said “We have already suggested two names from our side and if we include two former judges, then there will be a committee of 4 members. Either the Committee should be of 3 members or of 5 members. So Judge asked both Prashant Bhushan and Tushar Mehta to sit together and decide over the members of the Committee.”

➡️Then SG Tushar Mehta started personal attacks on Prashant Bhushan Sir and said that beneficiaries have been identified and can be caught. He said that last evening he had meeting with SSC officials and got to know the details and said that there is no such thing like mass scale cheating, small scale, no scale etc.

Tushar Mehta Quoted one of the previous case  and said that the previous case was very much similar to present case. In that case also Prashant Bhushan appeared on behalf of Petitioners and alleged mass level malpractices. Then the Hon'ble bench formed a Committee which gave clean chit to the exam and the case was disposed off. Tushar Mehta further said that Prashant Bhushan has filed a PIL against the extension of SSC Chairman in Delhi High Court.

➡️Then Justice SA Bobde interrupted him and asked what exactly was he trying to say. Then SG started explaining about the online exams. He said that in Online exams no two question papers are same. Questions are randomized and their options are also reshuffled.

He said “If in my Question Paper, a question appears at number 5 and the correct option is C, then the person sitting adjacent to me may get the same question at number 12 and the correct option as A.

➡️Then Justice SA Bobde intervened and said that Computers are supposed to be isolated then how…..

Then SG interrupted him in between and said that he was going to explain the same. He said that while solving Question, there was some intervention in few Candidates system from outside which was not supposed to happen. Then Judge asked can he exactly name all those candidates who had used unfair means.

Then SG said “YES, I can”.

He further said that he wants to demonstrate before the Court that how he can filter the Cheaters. Then Judge said him to demonstrate it before the Expert Committee.

➡️Finally Judge asked both Prashant Bhushan Sir and SG to sit down over a cup of coffee right after the hearing and decide over the members of Committee and to frame Questions on which Committee will have to submit its reply.

Initially Judge asked to come before this bench at 2 PM but on the request of SG, Matter was listed for next Tuesday.
