Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decided to cancel the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS-Non technical) Examination which was scheduled to be held in the months of April, May and June 2017. The decision came in view of reports of paper leak from different places.


SSC MTS 2016 Exam was scheduled to be held on 30th April, 14th May, 28th May, 4th June and 11th June 2017 in offline mode in all over the country. About 70 lakhs candidates have applied for this exam for 8300 posts. As you all know, the Commission has already conducted the MTS Exam on 2 days i.e. on 30th April and 14th May. In a previous notice, 30th April 2nd shift exam was already cancelled by the Commission. The 2nd shift question paper and answer keys of 30th April was leaked on social media sites.

Now, SSC has decided to cancel the MTS 2016 exam of all 5 days. The said examination would now be conducted by the Commission afresh in the Computer based mode, tentatively during the month of September-October 2017. Further details in this regard will be provided by the Commission in due course.
